Kaizer Chiefs have several passengers at the club right now. Could one of their fringe players be leaving on loan to resurrect his career?
Christian Saile could leave Kaizer Chiefs
According to Soccer-Laduma, Christian Saile’s former club Nchanga Rangers want to bring the 25-year-old back to the club on loan. Congolese striker Saile has managed seven goals and four assists from 56 Chiefs appearances.
“For now, that seems to be the solution for him ( Saile). Yes, the Zambian team has enquired about getting him on loan so that he can help the team in the Zambian MTN Super League. Do you remember he was their top striker before he joined Chiefs in 2022? So since the Nchanga Rangers are also struggling, they feel he could help them. But for now, they just want him on loan.
“If there is a club that would say they want to sign him permanently that’s what Chiefs would like. But if that doesn’t happen in January then a loan move to Nchanga Rangers in Zambia would also be a welcome idea as Chiefs are looking at offloading some players including him so that they create space for the new signings they are looking at. It has been tough for Saile mainly this season and a move away from Naturena could be helpful for him,”
Chiefs offered obscure Ghanaian striker
Soccer-Laduma is reporting that Chiefs have been offered the chance to sign Ghanaian marksman Jonathan Sowah.
“For now, they are not sure which striker they are getting or not. It is a kind of hide-and-seek. And not they are monitoring and enquiring about Jonathan (Sowah). There are several players – mainly strikers that the club is looking at. It has its priority according to what the coach wants but some of those top on the list are out of reach due to finances and that’s why they have to look at different alternatives and Jonathan has come up right now.
“Each team has scouts who identify players according to your needs at that particular time and that’s why they have offered Jonathan Sowah to Chiefs because the club needs a striker who can help them score goals. They have discovered that they can create chances but the main problem is finishing and this is one striker the scouts believe can help in that department, hence they have recommended him to the club,”
Would Chiefs regret letting Saile go?
