Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly just completed their first deal ahead of the 2025/26 PSL season.

Kaizer Chiefs have just made their first signing ahead of next season.

Nasreddine Nabi and Amakhosi management are determined to right the wrongs of the previous season. So, it all starts with some exciting new signings. This is apparently the first one.

CHIEFS FIRST SIGNING MADE?

Chiefs have reportedly secured the signature of former Orlando Pirates defender, Paseka Mako.

“Pirates were keen to extend his stay at the club but believed (he had) already agreed terms with Kaizer Chiefs after the Nedbank Cup final in Durban,” the insider stated on KickOff.

Meaning, Mako has already agreed to personal terms with Amakhosi after they claimed the 2025 Nedbank Cup title.

Furthermore, Pirates did their best to keep him at Mayfair but they could not.

“Pirates did everything to keep Mako, but the player had already made up his mind,”

“There were even bigger plans to keep Mako beyond his playing days at Pirates, but the player had already made up his mind to go to Kaizer Chiefs,” he continued.

PIRATES AND AMAKHOSI DEPARTURES CONTINUE TO MOUNT

The outgoing Bucs star recently left Pirates. He was one of FOUR player departures who have followed Jose Riveiro out the door at Mayfair.

He joins former captain, Innocent Maela as well as Thabiso Monyane and midfielder Miguel Timm.

Meanwhile, THREE Chiefs players have left Naturena so far. Therefore, a total of SEVEN Chiefs and Pirates departures have already been confirmed.
