Kaizer Chiefs are closing in on their first signing of the PSL transfer window.

Kaizer Chiefs are closer to securing their first signing this January.

SuperSport United attacker, Tashreeq Morris has been invited to Naturena where he will be undergoing medicals with Amakhosi.

CHIEFS SET TO WELCOME MORRIS

Gavin Hunt recently confirmed that Christian Saile will be joining SuperSport United.

“He is coming”, Hunt told the media (in reference to Saile) following his post-match interview after his sides match against Polokwane City on Friday.

Furthermore, this is a swop deal between Amakhosi and SuperSport. Meaning, Saile is set to join SuperSport in exchange for the services of Morris.

“Saile is set to move to SuperSport as part of a swop deal that will see striker Tashreeq Morris moving in the opposite direction,” KickOff reported.

NEW PLAYER SET TO UNDERGO MEDICALS THIS WEEK

Morris will be undergoing his medicals this week. So, if he is cleared then he will likely be Amakhosi’s first signing of the transfer window.

No announcement has been made by Chiefs yet due to the playing not having undergone his medicals as yet. However, Hunt is a very professional coach and quite a reliable source.

Meanwhile, this means that Saile is set to become Amakhosi’s’ first departure as well. Moreover, several Chiefs players are linked with departures out of Naturena.

Additionally, several transfer targets have been lined up with Chiefs. Most noticeably, Oswin Appollis and Stanley Nwabili. Finally, Chiefs have just made a R9.6 million offer for an international star who has just agreed to joining Amakhosi.
