Additionally, Amakhosi are keen to sign this R24-million top Bafana Bafana player too.
TWO SUNDOWNS STARS ON CHIEFS RADAR
Chiefs are planning to make an offer for Sundowns star, Neo Maema.
“As for Sundowns, they are looking at downsizing the squat at the end of the season and Chiefs are believed to be looking to use that window space to pursue Maema. They have apparently been monitering him for sometime now and they have the chance to sign him if Sundowns let him go. So yes it’s true, Chiefs are believed to be pursuing Neo Maema,” the insider stated on SNL.
Meanwhile, Amakhosi is also interested in Masandawana’s Terrence Mashego.
“There was interest and an inquiry from Kaizer Chiefs just before the close of the January transfer window period and there is the possibility of him moving either to Kaizer Chiefs or another club in the next transfer window but that will also depend on what step Sundowns take in the next two week regarding his future at the club. So at the moment Sundowns are working on his future,” the insider reported on SoccerLaduma.
HIGHLY-VALUED BRAZILIANS WORTH BIG MONEY
Meaning, Chiefs are waiting for Sundowns to make a decision on Mashego’s future.
Furthermore, the situation is similar with Maema too with Amakhosi keen to sign both stars.
However, both stars are highly-valued. Maema is valued at roughly R24 million with Mashego’s transfer valuation placed at over R10 million, according to Transfermarkt.
So, well this is not a definitive price tag on either player, it gives you an idea of how valuable they are.
Ultimately, both men are capped national players and they have both tasted success with the Brazilians.
