Several PSL stars are linked with big-money moves.
Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates are preparing to open their wallets once more when the summer window opens on January 1.
AmaKhosi was busy during the offseason, luring in seven signings, including Bradley Cross and Inacio Miguel, but appear hungry to bring in more talent in the coming weeks.
Rumours around the league
- Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns are reportedly battling it out for the services of Stellenbosch’s leading man, Jayden Adams. The Buccaneers are looking to include Goodman Mosele to sweeten the deal.
- Kaizer Chiefs are eyeing DR Congo international Fiston Mayele, who plays for Egypt’s Pyramids FC.
- Karim Kimvuidi has only managed 28 appearances since joining Orlando Pirates in 2023. The 22-year-old attacking midfielder is being monitored by several African Giants, including Al-Hilal, Simba and Mayele’s Pyramids FC.
- Golden Arrows starman Lungelo Nguse is attracting Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs, who could make a move this January.
Kaizer Chiefs target strikers
Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi has been vocal about his desire to bring in attacking talent.
“The coach has told management that they can fail to sign everyone else but not the striker,” a Soccer Laduma reported.
“Apparently, in the weekly match report, he told the technical team to prioritize a striker above all other signings. Signing a striker should have been the first priority even during the off-season. “Now, he has given them an ultimatum to sign a striker or else they should not expect miracles at all.”
