Mzansi continues to demand an apology from amapiano artist, Mpho Lebajoa, popularly known as Scotts Maphuma, following his alleged ill-mannered behaviour and bad attitude towards his fans.

Scotts Maphuma became a household name and attracters supporters after he released chart-toppers such as Yebo Lapho, Shayi’Moto, and Ngibolekeni among others; alongside his smooth dance signature moves.

Seemingly suffocating from fame, the amapiano heartthrob said he wishes to go out and not have people asking him for pictures as he used to do before. He also said he will not take pictures with people if he does not feel like it, because when he tells a person that he is not feeling well to pose for pictures, he appears rude. He made shocking statements when he visited the L’tido podcast that he built his success on his own and no one made him the person he is today, and he does not owe his fans anything.

Recently he took to his X (formerly Twitter) page to share a clip of him crying, his caption read: “God, I know I can’t handle it, it’s too much. But I believe You have never forsaken me. I’m Your son, and I come to You.”

X users did not take this post lightly, with some threatening that he is yet to suffer in the industry if he does not sincerely apologise to his fans, while some assured him that God does not live on the streets of X, so he should humble himself.

Eventually, Scotts extended his apology to his fans and supporters assuring that he takes full responsibility for his actions.

The feud seems to be far from over, as the internet users are divided with whether they should accept his apology or not.
