Springbok and Stormers player Manie Libbok is enjoying a peaceful retreat to Thailand with his wife as he recoveries from an injury.
The famous flyhalf injured his knee during a game against Leinster last month. It’s unclear how long he will be sidelined.
INSIDE MANIE LIBBOK’S THAILAND VACATION
On Instagram, Manie Libbok and his wife Verna have been posting about their vacation in Thailand. The newlyweds, who tied the knot in October last year, are likely enjoying their second honeymoon.
The couple is staying in the five-star hotel, the Four Seasons Resort, on the island of Koh Samui. During their trip, they have gone sightseeing around the popular tourist destination, visiting a Buddhist temple, visiting picturesque beaches, and wining and dining the local cuisine.
Manie also got a chance to meet the country’s men’s and women’s Thai rugby teams.
“It’s such an honour and privilege,” Manie said of the experience.

INJURY UPDATE
According to SA Rugby, Manie Libbok has undergone a knee scan following his injury during a Stormers game last month. While the prognosis has not been made public, it has been speculated that he could be four weeks to six months.
Manie joins a number of injured Springboks, including Eben Etzebeth, Aphelele Fassi, Andre Esterhuizen, Makazole Mapimpi, and Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu.
