Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabihas given his full support to club captain Miguel Inacio.

The 28-year-old defender missed Amakhosi’s midweek match against Richards Baydue to suspension. Miguel arrived at Amakhosifrom Petro Atletico, having won a treble in his home country. He alongside Rushwin Dortely have formed a good partnership at the back this season but lack of discipline has been a worrying factor for the Angolan international.

In the six matches he played, the Chiefs captain received four yellow cards and a red card.

“I don’t think Miguel has a problem of discipline, he is a really good guy, a real captain, but you know he is new in South African football,” said Nabi via FARPost.

“He needs a bit of time to adjust and adapt, not only for football but the atmosphere. If he has received more, I agree with you, but I think he wants to give his maximum best at Kaizer Chiefs, and sometimes, it is too much.

“But he is a good guy, best personality, I love this guy but he has promised me more…He is an example of good disciple on and off the field, but he should maybe be more careful when playing,” concluded Nabi.

Amakhosi are in action this weekend against Royal AM in a Betway Premiership match. Nasreddine Nabi will again have his captainback as Kaizer Chiefs aim for three points. The Soweto giants are currently sixth on the log and could jump to third on Saturday.

Can Amakhosi make it back-to-back wins this weekend?
