26-year-old author Ashley St. Clair revealed how she met South African-born billionaire Elon Musk, who she allegedly shares a child with.

26-year-old Ashley St. Clair released a statement on Friday 14 February, claiming that she welcome a baby with Elon Musk five months ago. Musk has not yet confirmed nor denied the claim that he fathered a child with the author.

Since then, she has also claimed that she first “met” Musk through the DMs on X (formerly Twitter). She expressed that he was funny and “down to Earth.” She claims that it all began with a meme.

“Musk was very funny. He was smart. He was very down to Earth. It started with X interactions and he slid into my DM’s. I think it was a meme,” she said according to The Post.

St. Clair went on to say that Musk had asked her if she is ever in San Francisco or Austin, to which she revealed she is in Austin for work.

“And at one point he said, ‘Are you ever in San Francisco or Austin?’ “And I said, ‘I am in Austin and Texas a good amount for work.’” St. Clair said, adding that she worked for conservative satirical website Babylon Bee, at the time.

Musk reportedly restored the Babylon Bee account after the account was suspended for eight months over a joke about a transgender Biden administration official. So, the CEO Seth Dillon asked St. Clair to fly to San Francisco to interview Musk at his new company’s headquarters.

“After the interview, I got a text from him saying “Feel like going to Providence [Rhode Island] tonight?” said St. Clair.

In her statement, St. Clair revealed that she did not previously disclose that she welcomed a child with the billionaire to protect her child’s privacy.

“Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father,” she wrote.

“I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause,” she continued.

“I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment. For that reason, I ask that the media honor our child’s privacy, and refrain from invasive reporting,” she added.

The author also claimed that she was isolated during her pregnancy, in a lavish New York apartment.

“I was completely isolated during my pregnancy. Every part of my career and everything I used to do I couldn’t do anymore. I was told not to tell anybody,” she said to The Post.
