Simba has unveiled a new twist on a South African snack-time classic with the launch of its Wellington’s Tomato Sauce Flavoured Potato Chips, promising fans a richer, more nostalgic flavour experience.
The brand has teamed up with Wellington’s, renowned for its full-bodied sauces, to bring a bold take on the beloved tomato sauce flavour.
‘Signature crunch’
The collaboration aims to elevate a long-time favourite by combining Simba’s signature crunch with the distinct taste of Wellington’s, a staple in local households.
“Tomato sauce is one of those must-haves at every meal, from braais to Sunday feasts,” said Tongase Dhlakama, senior marketing manager for the Potato Chips Category at PepsiCo South Africa.
“We’re giving fans an even tastier and crunchier way to enjoy a timeless classic.”
The new flavour is available in 36g and 120g bags.
