Generations: The Legacy actress Buntu Petse who recently got married and announced her pregnancy opens up about her relationship.
BUNTU PETSE: ‘HE INSTANTLY CAUGHT MY ATTENTION
The actress Buntu Petse who is famously known for playing Nontle Mogale in Generations: The Legacy reveals to Sowetanthat her friend hooked her up with her now-husband, Londa Mavundla.
“A friend decided to hook me up. She felt it was time that I found love. So, she went on X (formerly Twitter) and put me on blast, Bachelorette style. She asked men who were bold enough to date me to step forward and Londa happened to be one of those to rear his head.”
Petse adds that Mavundla instantly caught her attention. They began speaking at beginning of 2018 and officially met for the first time when school [Wits University] opened in February.
The pair who recently Instagramthat they are expecting their first baby together officially began dating a week after meeting.
The talented actress recently got married to her long-term boyfriend Londa Mavundla in a traditionalwedding ceremony.
TshisaLIVEreports that Petse’s husband popped the question in 2023. The actress took to her timeline in 2023 to share photos from her surprise proposal with a heartfelt quote.
“Love has truly been good to me. Not even one sad day or minute have I had since you’ve come my way,” she said.
HER ROLE IN ‘GENERATIONS: THE LEGACY’
The actress Buntu Petse who exited Generations: The Legacy in 2023 returned to the soapie in August and left again.
Petse is known for her character as the daughter of Tau Mogale and Ayanda (played by actors Rapulana Seiphemo and Samela Tyelbooi).
The 27-year-old acrtess debuted on the SABC1 soapie in 2020 together with actor Karabo Maseko, who played Luyolo.
She joined the Netflix hit series, Miseducationas Mbali Hadebe after leaving the SABC1 soapie.
