Marumo Gallants star Gabadinho Mhango, mostly known for his Orlando Pirates stint, has put his football career in serious jeopardy.
FORMER ORLANDO PIRATES STAR GABADINHO MHANGO DRUNK IN CAR ACCIDENT
According to Austin Ditlhobolo, Mhango recently bumped into a Toyota Quantum with his Polo Tsi while under the influence of alcohol in Bloemfontein. A witness also claimed that the former Orlando Pirates star had four female passengers in the vehicle.
The 32-year-old Malawian striker was previously suspended by his former clubs, AmaZulu and Swallows, for reporting to work drunk.
In the meantime, coach Dan Malesela has said Mhango has been forgiven.
“He is still very much an important player. If he has made a mistake, we must understand that we are human,” Malesela told SABC Sport.
“I don’t want to speculate, the club is dealing with some issues regarding Mhango, not the [reported] incident. You can’t be going on hearsay, let the right people, the relevant people, deal with whatever disciplinary measure, if there is any,” the former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns player concluded on Mhango.
