While the rest of us are gearing up for the long weekend, Expresso Show’s presenter Ryle De Morny has just received one more reason to smile.
Known for his vibrant personality and adventurous spirit, the former Blood & Water actor has made quite an impression during his past few years on breakfast television.
This is why it was no surprise that this past weekend he received positive responses from thousands of adoring viewers when he recently decided to bend down on one knee and propose to his long-time girlfriend Mel Corbett.
Taking to Instagram, Ryle shared the precious moment with the rest of his followers.
In a post that contained a gallery of pictures, he shared the news of his engagement.
“She said yes – here’s to forever,” he wrote.
While the moment was a big one for him, it meant even more for his, now, fiancé.
In a post of her own, Mel wrote:
“The day I became a whole fiancé in the most perfect proposal on the most perfect day with the most perfect person️.
“I couldn’t have dreamed up anything more perfect if I tried! I will remember this moment forever. Thank you, Ryle, for choosing me as your forever person.”
Meanwhile, several prominent celebs later flooded the comment section, among these was Katlego Maboe.
“Congratulations, bro! This will go well with the PL title you’re about to win! On a serious note, though, may you two be forever blessed!”
Also in the comments was Heart FM presenter Jamie-Lee Domburg who wrote: “And you are the perfect person. So happy for you Mel. The most beautiful love story.”
