‘EFF is finished, it was the party for the unemployed radicals’ – Rob Hersov

South African businessman Rob Hersov believes that the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) will not last with its prominent leaders leaving.

In the last eight months, the party has lost the likes of Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, Floyd Shivambu, Dali Mpofu and many more. Speaking to Penuel Mlotswa on Konvo podcast, Hersov said EFF were going nowhere.

“The eff is finished, it’s over. It was always the crazy gang, the destructive populist, lunatics. It was basically the party for the unemployed radicals and when they came and caused trouble in Brackenfell, a friend of mine took a video camera to film the whole thing and he ended up being in an area with four EFF guys who basically asked him for a job. The guys who were running around, smashing things and breaking…they came and ask for a job,” he said.

Rob Hersov says EFF leader Julius Malema is an opportunist

“The EFF is a pathetic organisation going nowhere, and it’s gone, it’s finished.”

Rob Hersov said the EFF were declining and MK Party was the real deal in the current polical landscape.

“EFF is a joke, they have always been. They are just there for power and to steal. I mean the VBS scandal is a good example. Julius is just an opportunist. If there was nobody on the extreme right of the country, he’d been there,” he said.
