The rugby star took to Instagram to express his love and appreciation for his wife on their special day.

It’s truly heartwarming to see a young couple thriving in their marriage and celebrating milestones together.
Rugby star Eben and his wife, Anlia Etzebeth, are celebrating their second wedding anniversary.
The couple celebrated the special day on social media with heartfelt messages to each other. Eben posted a romantic photo from their wedding day, captioning it: “Best two years of my life.”
Anlia also posted their wedding photo along with a heartfelt message: “Happy Anniversary, my love!! Thank you for making me the happiest woman on earth!!”
A BEAUTIFUL LOVE STORY
The couple continues to inspire many with their beautiful love story. Over the past few years, they’ve achieved so much together and continue to strengthen their love.
Eben and Anlia first met in October 2021 through mutual friends. In March 2022, Eben decided to put a ring on it. He shared the exciting news of their engagement in a post on Instagram that read:
“Die begin van die res van ons lewe. Ek wou nog nooit so graag die ja woord gehoor het nie. Jyt my die gelukkigste mens op die planeet gemaak.”
Which can be loosely translated as “The beginning of the rest of our life. I’ve never wanted to hear the ‘yes’ word so badly. You’ve made me the happiest man on the planet.”
In February 2023, they tied the knot in a white wedding ceremony at La Paris Estate in Franschhoek, Western Cape.
Now, they have a beautiful daughter together who turned 1 year old in January.
