Deli Malinga lashes out at Hyundai dealership

Multi-Award-winning actress, Deli Malinga has recently shared her dispute with Hyundai car dealership on the social media platforms.

The thespian took to her Instagram page to narrate her ordeal. In her caption she said she took Hyundai Tucson to Hyundai in Springfield, Durban. Deli said they pretended to fix her car, only to realise that nothing was done or changed.

“I then sent an email to the regional manager, person in charge at Hyundai Springfield without any luck,” she said.

Deli also mentioned that the intention of this post is to warn the public to not fall on the same trap.

Instagram users took to the comment section to share their concerns.

Director and screenwriter, Mmabatho Montsho said, “Eish! Sorry about that mama. I hope it gets resolved.”

Actor and musician, Mbuso Khoza said, “Something must be done.”

While another user who experienced the same crisis with Hyundai said,”Hyundai did the same with my grandmother’s car. Two guys from there replaced some of the parts with old ones.”

Deli is a South African thespian with an intensive resume; she portrayed roles in Generations, Rhythm City, Mponeng, Mfolozi Street and currently as a fan-favourite villain MamZobe Gumede on Umkhokha: The Curse.

Recently it has been announced that Umkhokha:The Curse and My Brother’s Keeper will be discontinued as part of Mzansi Magic’s strategic evolution.

Director of Local Channels at M-Net, Shirley Adonisi said in a statement: “We are deeply grateful to Rhythm World Productions and the outstanding cast and crew who turned these shows into the phenomenon they have become.”

Umkhokha: The Curse will air their last episode in February 2025, while My Brother’s Keeper is expected to end in April.
