Just weeks after hosting Pride, the Cape Town Carnival had residents entertained with another street parade. But this time, it was the topless law enforcement officials and firefighters who had women – and men – drooling.
The carnival – which celebrates community, creativity, and culture – took place on Saturday, 15 March, along the Green Point Fan Walk.
COPS, FIREFIGHTERS GO TOPLESS AT CAPE TOWN CARNIVAL
On TikTok, spectators of the Cape Town Carnival posted several videos of the topless firefighters and Metro Police officers who joined in on the parade.
The shirtless men – sporting sweaty sixpacks – teased the crowds with their sexy dance moves. Another clip saw the men compete in who could do the most press-ups.
Other clips showed the crime and firefighters encouraging women in the crowd to rub baby oil on their bare chests.

Naturally, many social media users were left hot and bothered by the show.
“But the weatherman did not mention that it is raining men.”
“So we’re all moving to Cape Town, then?”
“When is the next carnival? I want to reserve my spot”.
Even media personality and YouTuber lasizwe Dambuza was also left speechless.
“For health purposes,” he commented under one video.
This year, the Cape Town Carnival celebrated its 15th anniversary and featured even more “dazzling floats, electrifying performances, and stunning costumes.”
STORMERS JOIN IN TOO
It wasn’t just the men in uniform who had the crowd screaming in excitement at the Cape Town Carnival.
For the first time in the history of the carnival, the Stormers club – including single Springbok Damian Willemse – also joined in on the action on their own float.
