Former YoTV child star and now Algoa FM presenter Carly Fields is one proud mom and is celebrating her daughter’s impressive Matric pass.
The bubbly blonde first burst onto the entertainment scene as one of the hosts of the SABC 1 kids show. Carly – now 42 – is married to TV producer Freddie Louw and is a mother of two.

On her Instagram account, Carly Fields posted a photo of her eldest daughter, Indy, who achieved an astounding Matric pass.
She captioned the heartwarming post: “To say I’m proud would be an understatement! This daughter of mine puts her whole heart into everything she does, and her Matric results are proof of that! Matriculated with a Bachelor’s Pass and… FIVE distinctions!
Carly added in a message to her daughter: “Your future will be just as bright as your past. keep on sparkling!”.

Julius Malema celebrated his son Ratanang’s Bachelor Pass from Johannesburg’s affluent private school, St David’s Marist Inanda.
Overcome with joy, the EFF leader posted an Instagram Story of his son with the caption: “We are not sleeping tonight. Congratulations, my boy.”

Khanyi Mbau was another excited parent after her daughter Khanukani also passed Matric. The teen completed her high school education in South Africa, while her reality TV star mom is based in Dubai.
