A South African businesswoman has documented how she budgets a whopping R10 000 for her weekly grocery haul at Checkers.

In a TikTok video, businesswoman Desire  Bandeira shared her generous weekly grocery budget of R10 000.

The woman – a mon-of-three revealed how she planned to spend the money at her local Checkers store.

The woman filled her trolley with fresh and frozen produce, meat, baby formula, toiletries, and detergent.

During checkout, the woman revealed how her grocery haul came in “under budget” at R6 684,18.

Laughing off claims of white South Africans who sought refugee status in the US, the woman said: “I choose to live a life of abundance…and no, I’m not going to America”.
