It appears our celebrities have declared it wedding season as we have seen multiple nuptial ceremonies of some notable names in the past month. The public can only dream of the uninterrupted exclusive content once provided by Top Billing as they express a gaping need for a similar show.
March 2025 has proven to be the month of love and matrimony as three of some of South Africa’s celebrity royalty tied the knot in some breathe-taking ceremonies to mark the beginning of eternity with their other halves.
First came former Miss SA Natasha Joubert who was a sight for sore eyes in every single look from her bachelorette series all the way to to the final ceremony where she donned an elegant embellished gown with an immaculate corset designed by the renowned Jolandie Fouche of Jolache Couture.
A week later, media personality Candice Modiselle was a beaming makoti at her traditional ceremony where the Modiselle and Sello family united as one.
Former Miss SA and longest-serving Miss Universe Zozibini closed off the weekend in style as she tied the knot right under our noses as many revealed being shocked to find out that she had a partner. She donned a jaw-dropping, detailed gown fit for South Africa’s favourite pageant queen and unofficial forever Miss Universe which she revealed was designed by the renowned Vietnamese designer Phan Huy.
Amid the jubilation and celebration, fans and supporters across the country could not help but highlight the gaping hole left by popular lifestyle magazine programme Top Billing, as they express they express disappointment in the lack of exclusive content from the big media houses.
These users emphasise the missed opportunity by popular media houses as the public’s interest in these weddings would have generated plenty of eyes and recognition for them. To make matter’s worse, Natasha revealed that she and Enrico were interested in doing a SABC series but it did not pan out, unfortunately for the public.
