Who would have thought that two Hip Hop stars could come together and bless us with a song.Bongani Fassie and Fifi Cooper have joined forces and are set to release a song called Jehovah.
In an interview Bongani had with TshisaLive he shared how the collaboration came about. He said that the vibe felt right, and for him, it was an opportunity to work with people who share the same passion as him – the passion of lifting souls.
Elaborating more on what to expect, he described the song as “a song that speaks to the heart.”
Whilst keeping in mind that Bongani has hogged headlines for the wrong reasons, he hopes that the song will spread a message of positivity and love to the listeners.
Fifi Cooper also added that the song came out effortlessly because they were both in sync.
“Jehovah represents the strength of the human spirit, the journey of faith and the power of togetherness,” she said.
Apart from the release of their song, Fifi is also set to release her second album, Chapters, through her record label, Mo’Cooper Records.
Taking to Instagram, Bongani shared a snippet of the song, which got fans excited and happy. In another lengthy post, he expressed his gratitude for being given a second chance to do right by the industry. He stated that he hoped his listeners would enjoy the song because it meant a lot to him.
One fan wrote: “It’s that time.”
