The 2024/25 Betway Premiership season is fast approaching its climax and there’s a scramble on for bragging rights as the country’s top goal scorer.
Last season, Orlando Pirates’ Tshegofatso Mabasa proved to be the deadliest striker in Mzansi with 16 goals.
Once again, no one will break – nor come even close – the all-time PSL record of 25 goals held by Zambia’s Collins Mbesuma while playing for Kaizer Chiefs in the 2004/05 season.
It appears to be a two-man race for the Golden Boot between Mamelodi Sundowns pair Lucas Ribeiro Costa (14 goals) and Iqraam Rayners (13).
Maswandana have four more matches this season.
Who will finish the season as the Golden Boot winner?
