Big players on the move?
- Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs remain keen on Stellenbosch wingback Fawaaz Basadien even after several bids were rejected in the previous two windows. Both outfits will bid again this offseason.
- Mamelodi Sundowns star Lucas Ribeiro Costa has several foreign clubs monitoring his movements. A winter blockbuster deal isn’t out of the question.
- Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly lost interest in Bafana defender Yaya Sithole following months of speculation.
- AmaKhosi are eying Pyramids FC striker Fiston Mayele, who recently bagged a brace in the Champions League quarter-final. The Egyptian giants are said to be willing to let the 30-year-old leave, opening the door for his PSL arrival.

“Chiefs have a great chance of signing Mayele this time around. It is believed that with his contract remaining with almost a year, they want to make some cash before he becomes a free agent,” SoccerLaduma confirmed.
“It’s apparently in the range between R12 million to R15 million and you know Chiefs’ last offer was around R14 million so it means they can now afford to sign him.”
