Bafana Bafana defender wanted by European Giants!

Bafana Bafana’s Khuliso Mudua, 29, is attracting international attention.

And it’s none other than thirty-three times Bundesliga winners Bayern Munich, who are looking to regain their throne over reigning champions Bayer Leverkusen.

Vincent Kompany’s scouts are reportedly monitoring the Mamelodi Sundowns star, who could leave early in January.

SoccerLaduma confirmed the suspicions, saying, “Yes, there is interest from Germany. Actually, it’s Bayern Munich. Their coach Vincent Kompany is a big fan of Sailor (Mudau). He was actually the one who inquired about him while he was still the coach at Burnley FC in England. And now that he has moved to Bayern Munich he has continued to monitor him. There is nothing official at the moment but we are looking forward to something positive. He is very good and a modern right back who is more like Trent Alexander-Arnold of Liverpool who is good in defending and very good in attack and putting in those effective crosses for strikers. That’s what seems to have attracted the Bayern Munich coach,”

Bafana ready for qualifiers

As we head into the international break, Bafana Bafana is on the verge of qualifying for AFCON 2025.

Hugo Broos’ side takes on Uganda (November 15) before facing South Sudan (November 19) in Cape Town.

South Africa needs just one win from the two matches to qualify for the AFCON, the same tournament they knocked out favourites Morrocco and claimed the bronze medal earlier this year.

Broos seams confident his side will accumulate three points, telling Goal., “If we lose both games, five minutes after the game I’m on the flight to Belgium. You can be sure of it,

“If we can’t win, okay Uganda [away is tough], but at home against South Sudan, I tell you I’ll immediately take a flight, and you’ll never see me again.”
