The much-anticipated UK premiere of Wicked lit up The Royal Festival Hall in London on Monday night.
ARIANA GRANDE’S LOOK
Grande, who plays Glinda, abandoned her character’s signature pink for a radiant yellow gown.
She paired the flowing dress with quirky round glasses and a silver necklace, according to The Sun.
Fans couldn’t get enough of her ethereal look, complete with a train that needed a helping hand on the red carpet.
“I wanted something vibrant but unexpected,” Grande shared in a pre-premiere interview.
CYNTHIA’S SHIMMERING LOOK
Erivo, known for her role as Elphaba, also stepped away from tradition.
Instead of her character’s green attire, she chose a striking black ruffled gown with shimmering thigh-high details.
“This look is about power and elegance,” she said. Her dramatic outfit perfectly matched the futuristic tone of the event.
THE ‘WICKED’ PREMIERE
The premiere, attended by stars from across the globe, celebrated the first of the two-part musical adaptation. It is set to debut in cinemas on 22 November 2024.
