The annual SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, is always a talking point. This year, it’s Jenna Ortega, the Wednesday star, who’s got everyone’s attention.
She attended the premiere of her new film, Death Of A Unicorn, and she looked absolutely stunning.
JENNA ORTEGA’S STYLE
Ortega, known for her quirky and dark style, surprised everyone with a chic, brown plaid suit, according to the Daily Mail.
She paired it with a cranberry-coloured shirt and tie. The look was finished off with towering platform heels.
A well-tailored suit is a must-have, no matter where you are in the world. “Jenna’s suit proves that you can be both stylish and comfortable,” says Cape Town based fashion blogger, Aisha Baker.
A CHARMING CAST
Paul Rudd, the ageless wonder, also stars in the film, and he rocked a light grey suit.
It was teamed with a white shirt and shiny dark shoes, the actor also added a dark belt with a gold buckle. The ensemble screamed old Hollywood charm.
The film boasts a stellar cast, including Will Poulter, Téa Leoni, and Richard E. Grant, according to Deadline.
Each brought their unique flair to the red carpet. Poulter opted for a leather jacket. Leoni wore a stylish blue shirt. The entire cast appeared to be on top form.
DEATH OF A UNICORN
Death Of A Unicorn is a dark comedy about a father and daughter, (Jenna Ortega) who accidentally kill a unicorn, according to Den Of Geek.
Apparently, this unicorn has miraculous healing properties. The billionaire boss wants to exploit this and mayhem ensues.
Inside the premiere, Jenna Ortega spoke about her working relationship with Rudd.
“Fortunately, we got on, we had a couple of conversations, we started shooting a day or two after we met.”
WORKING WITH PAUL RUDD
Rudd chimed in with a touch of humour: “Fortunately, we had the experience. Jenna is a daughter in real life, and I’m actually a dad!
We hit it off right away, when you’re lucky enough to act with Jenna Ortega, your job is easy because she’s incredible!”
THE SXSW
SXSW wasn’t just about unicorns. Ben Affleckand Matt Damon also graced the festival. They were at the premiere of The Accountant 2.
SXSW continues to be a platform that highlights talent and creativity.
It also provides plenty of talking points. Ortega’s appearance proves that she is a style icon to watch.
