Thanks to his huge social media following, the news has thrust the Club Brugge KV star into the top trends.

FORMER PSL STAR BUYS A DOUBLE-STOREY HOUSE FOR HIS PARENTS

Since leaving SuperSport United at the end of last season, Shandre Campbell has excelled at Club NXT, the development side of Belgian giants Club Brugge.

Rumour mill has it that he is earning big at Club Brugge, and the star seemingly proved so with his recent gesture.

According to reports, he bought a new house for his parents. Despite the reports, he took to Instagram to seemingly confirm the news. He shared a photo of his parents standing in front of the alleged house.

Shandre Campbell posted, “Congrats, Mom and Dad, on your new house. I love you 1000, Gabby, my love, and @aesthetic_devandre, my bro.”

Against the post, fans, fellow stars, and coaches flooded his comments section with congratulatory messages.

SuperSport United coach Gavin Hunt commented, “So proud of you, son.” Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana legend Siphiwe Tshabalala posted, “Blessings.”

Former Kaizer Chiefs star @keagzbuchnan said, “This is what it’s about.”

Surprisingly, the gesture came barely a year after he blessed his parents with a car. Earlier this year, local football blogger Cellular Jr. revealed to X that the star had bought his parents a car.

“Shandre Campbell, who just recently joined the first team of SuperSport United. He has spoiled his parents with a brand new family car, giving thanks to those who are close to him and looked after him,” @Cellular_jnr said via X.

“What a move by the young man. The future is bright in the country!”

CAREER

The 19-year-old star was reportedly born on 15 July 2005. He had his youth career with SuperSport United before being promoted to the senior team.

The winger from Gqeberha made his senior debut for SuperSport ahead of the 2023-2024 season. Shandre Campbell became an instant hit, scoring five goals and four assists in 22 games.

The brightest moment was last December when he smashed in a brace against Orlando Pirates.

In July, SuperSport United confirmed that the club had agreed terms for the permanent transfer of winger Shandre Campbell for an undisclosed fee.
