Kaizer Chiefs have recently been spotted with THREE new players.
So, TWO of them were seen on the Amakhosi bench during the Home of Legends Cup. Meanwhile, another new player was spotted training with the first team a few weeks ago. Now, this new player has been seen training with Chiefs’ first team.
NEW PLAYER SPOTTED IN TRAINING WITH CHIEFS
Ofentse Kgosana was one of the players named on Chiefs bench during the Home of Legends Cup.
However, like Xolani Cossa, he did not play during the tournament.
Now, he has been seen training with the Chiefs first team.
“He has been training with the first team under the watchful eye of the technical team and they are impressed. Yes, he trains with the first team as well as the DDC and plays for the DDC but now they believe he is ready to be promoted and acclimatize with the senior team before getting game time as well,” the insider stated on SNL.
Therefore, they are preparing Kgosana to make the step up to the senior side.
“He has a very good, educated left foot. The good thing is that he is good in both defence and attack. He is kind of a Tsepo Masilela type of player and they are very rare these days. So the team believes in him and they feel he is ready for top flight football if and when given the chance,” they added.
Meaning, they are considering promoting him to the first team.
So, Kgosana could represent the first team in friendlies in the future as he gradually adapts to the environment and pressure of the first team.
