Motsepe Foundation Championship side Upington City FC has concluded the signing of ex-Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Promise Mkhuma.
City announced the signing of Mkhuma on Tuesday afternoon after the attacking midfielder spent the past three weeks training with the club.
The 24-year-old has been a free agent for over four months after parting ways with Mamelodi Sundowns on the 30th of June 2024.
The Brazilians decided against offering the promising attacker a new deal after the player’s contract with the club expired at the end of the 2023/24 Betway Premiership season.
Mkhuma struggled hold down a regular starting berth at Sundowns since he gained promotion from the club’s development structures to the senior team in 2019.
