For the first time, Eben Etzebeth will start alongside fellow Springbok RG Snyman in their test match against England. And their “double trouble” photoshoot has many rugby fans thinking that their new bromance has left Siya Kolisi out in the cold.

Eben will start in the number 4 jersey, while RG will take up number 5.

The game between the two rugby rivals takes place in Twickenham on Saturday, 16 November.

In images posted on Instagram by their respective wives, Eben Etzebeth and RG Snyman are seen posing together in London ahead of their game against England.

The Springbok pals will play alongside each other for the first time ever in the starting line-up.

In another clip, the two towering stars – nicknamed the “twin towers” embrace in a move that would likely make Eben’s bestie,Siya Kolisi, jealous.

“Reunited!, Eben and RG’s wives, Anlia Etzebeth and Saskia Snyman, posted on their accounts.

DOUBLE TROUBLE ON THE PITCH?

According to Springbok fans, Eben Etzebeth and RG Snyman will make a “mean second-row combo” in the tense stand-off against England.

Defending his unconventional squad selection, Springboks coach Rassie Erasmus said in a media conference this week: “Most of these players know each other really well, having played together for the last few seasons, as well as in the Rugby World Cup, the Incoming Series, and the Rugby Championship, so we are pleased with the quality of the team we’ve been able to name.”

TWO TALLEST MEMBERS IN THE SPRINGBOK SQUAD

There’s no doubt that Eben Etzebeth and RG Snyman – nicknamed Ysterbeth and the Viking respectively – are the fiercest and tallest players in the team.

Eben has a height of 2,03m, while RG is a staggering 2,06 m!
