CHIEFS NAME REPLACEMENT COACHES

Chiefs have confirmed that assistant coaches Khalil Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze will take charge of the first team in Nabi’s absence.

“In the Head Coach’s absence, assistant coaches Khalil Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze will take charge of the team to face the Golden Arrows in this weekend’s Home of Legends Cup,” Chiefs confirmed.

Whilst, Nabi remains at home where he is set to undergo surgery. Thankfully, he is okay and it is just a minor orthopedic related procedure.

“Notably, the coaching staff will miss Head Coach, Nasreddine Nabi, who is recovering at home after recently undergoing a minor orthopedic operation,” they confirmed.

NEW FACES DRAW ATTENTION TO AMAKHOSI

So, Chiefs have been spotted with a new player.

Meanwhile, Kaze and Youssef will take charge of Amakhosi for the first time. Furthermore, ex-Orlando Pirates man, Bongani Sam was named on the bench.

However, Nabi is expected to return back to the coaching box in time for Chiefs’ next PSL fixture against Richards Bay on 27 November 2024. Therefore, it will be interesting to see if Sam gets any game time in the home of Legends Cup.
