Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Cole Alexander is aware Oswin Appollis and Thabang Matuludi should forget about the failed moves before the start of the season.
COLE ALEXANDER OFFERS ADVICE
According to the 35-year-old Polokwane City midfielder from Mitchells Plain, Cape Town, the two players have to focus on what’s in front of them.
“So now what’s important is to focus on being here and have a proper attitude, have a proper desire to do well and perform,” Alexander said via FARPost.
“Continue to do what you have been doing for you to get the recognition you’ve been getting.
“If you get frustrated and this [failed move] gets into your head, in one year or two years time are we going to talk the same story about you?
“So at the end of the day, if you get frustrated and drop your head and you don’t want to give your best anymore because of external situations, you only damaging yourself and the potential to further your career and invite other offers.
“I mean it takes a good season for people to see you and same thing can be said about having one bad season. So my message to the boys is to be with us. We appreciate that you are with us and it also shows how ambitious our chairman [Johnny Mogaladi] is and it shows that this club want to reach new heights,” the former Kaizer Chiefs defensive midfielder added.
