Kaizer Chiefs want midfield maestro Nduli

According to SoccerLaduma, and The South African’s Siseko Gwegwe, Kaizer Chiefs are keen to land Stellies midfielder Sihle Nduli’s signature.

“The interest in Nduli has been there for some time but maybe it was not in the open because there were other players at the same club that Chiefs were looking at as they didn’t want to mix things up,” the source said.

“But now, since it’s believed that they could not get those other players then they are looking at how to work with Stellenbosch FC and see if they can get Nduli. The thing is that they are looking at if they don’t keep Njabulo Blom and Sibongiseni Mthethwa then they will need a defensive midfielder like Sihle (Nduli) and that’s why they are considering him for the future.

“It’s not like there are talks going on yet after the recommendation from their scouts and recruiters. So, we have to wait first for Chiefs to make the official approach to Stellies and if there are talks then those talks will determine whether they agree on a deal or not. But the interest from Chiefs is there,” a second source added on the Amakhosiprospect.

Potsane is back in the fold

As per Ernest Makhaya, Tebogo Potsane is nearing a return to competitive action for Amakhosi. The 31-year-old former Royal AM winger has only made 11 appearances for the club since signing in mid-2023.

“Tebogo Potsane went for a scan which showed some ligament damage [in his ankle], so we expect him to be out for around three weeks,” said Amakhosi physiotherapist David Milner at the time.

Now, the left-footed winger is nearing his return to competitive football after being spotted at training on Thursday.
