Against the posts, it was revealed that it has a base price tag of around R2.5 million. The post gained thousands of comments and reactions from petrolheads.
However, many were convinced it was shared at the wrong time since the former Kaizer Chiefs star was making headlines for the wrong reasons.
Some claimed it was a subtle flex, while others claimed it was a coincidence. At the time of the post, Reneilwe Letsholonyane was embroiled in an R1 million debt.
Many felt Mpho Maboi was poking fun at troubled legend, but seemingly that was not the case.

However, she shared photos from Shanghai, China, where she announced that the celebrated British automaker was heading to South Africa under the Chinese motor manufacturer SAIC.
This is undoubtedly good news for petrolheads with a soft spot for the British automobile. The auto manufacturer is celebrating its 100th anniversary.
Photos of Mpho Maboi posing next to MG’s roadster have generated thousands of comments and reactions. After a test drive, she reviewed the car and gave it a nod.
The South African has since established that a 2024 MG Cyberster has a base price tag of R1.2 million worldwide. A 2025 MG Cyberster will have a base price tag of R2 million.
Last month, the publication reported that the Kaizer Chiefs legend was in trouble and could lose his Fourways mansion because of a debt.
Reports suggest that the star has been struggling to keep up with his instalments, which have since ballooned to over a million the initial market value of the house.
Against his woes, Mpho Maboi’s posts were put to blast as she shared a string of posts posing next to expensive cars.
Mzansi was convinced that she was poking the Kaizer Chiefs legends, but that was not the case. In recent years, she has shared such posts.
After all, this is not the first time Mpho Maboi has shared similar posts. The celebrated anchor is a petrolhead and car enthusiast. She often shares or lists some of her favourite cars on Instagram.
