Cardi B’s 2nd album to drop in September
Cardi B has finally put the speculation about her second studio album to rest as she made an official announcement on social media.
Taking to Instagram on 22 June 2025, the Grammy-winning rapper made the big reveal, announcing the title and release date in true Cardi fashion.
“AM I THE DRAMA? 🐦⬛ My new album is out September 19th! Preorder LINK IN BIO,” she wrote, alongside the album’s striking cover art which features the rapper in a fiery red outfit, turning up the heat as only she can.
The announcement instantly set social media ablaze, with fans flooding the comments section in celebration of the long-awaited follow-up to her 2018 debut, Invasion of Privacy.
Though she’s remained a dominant force in music with hit singles and high-profile collaborations, this marks her first full project in seven years.
While the tracklist remains under wraps, the reveal alone has been enough to reignite excitement across the internet.
