The star-studded event, Reserve Padel’s inaugural Moonlight Open, aims to raise funds for cancer patients battling leukaemia. It takes place at the University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Centre .
The fundraiser honours professional padel player Charlie Moon, a four-time cancer survivor now fighting leukaemia for the fifth time, according to Page Six.
Moon shared a heartfelt message: “Padel has truly saved my life. It’s given me strength, purpose and community during the hardest battles of my life. Every day is a gift.
When I play, I don’t care about winning or losing – I’m just grateful to be on the court, alive.” His words resonate deeply, highlighting the power of sport to inspire hope.
