Orlando Pirates have been linked with four foreign strikers in recent weeks.

The club are poised to miss out on yet another league title this season.

Barring an unthinkable slip-up from Mamelodi Sundowns, the Buccaneers are well on course to finish as runners-up once again.

And now, reports suggest the Buccaneers have identified their biggest weaknesses and are searching high-and-low for remedies!

According to the latest transfer gossip, no less than four foreign strikers have caught the eye of management at the Buccaneers.

Orlando Pirates have reportedly opened talks with Pyramids and DR Congo striker Fiston Mayele.

Mayele lead the charge for Pyramids and knocked Orlando Pirates out of the CAF Champions League almost single-handedly.

Furthermore, the club have been linked with a move for a surprise South American attacker. The Buccaneers will be given the first option to sign the prolific 26-year-old Brazilian striker Raphael Lopes.

Orlando Pirates also welcomed Zambian striker Andrew Phiri for a trial last month. The 23-year-old reportedly left a lasting impression on the coaching staff and is awaiting a final decision from the club.

And finally, according to reputable reports from Ghana, Asante Kotoko attacker Kwame Opoku is a wanted man at Orlando Pirates!
