US paranormal justice expert Kandis Starr believes she has spoken to the spirit of Joslin Smith following the verdict delivered to the missing girl’s mother, Kelly Smith, last week.
According to the medium, the little girl – she believes has since passed – has accused her mother of “lying” about her version of events.
The Saldanha Bay woman is accused of being the “mastermind” behind her daughter’s disappearance. Kelly, and her co-accused, boyfriend Jacquin Appollis and pal Steveno van Rhyn, have been found guilty of kidnapping and child trafficking.

In a spirit box session – a paranormal justice tool used to “communicate” with the dead using via electronic voice phenomena (EVP) – Kandis Starr claims to have contacted the spirit of Joslin Smith.
When asked how she felt about Kelly Smith’s verdict, a voice said: “She didnt tell [the court] – why?
“She’s awful. I can’t believe her”.
The spirit claims that the girl “died” in her “home”. It also claimed that the “body” is located in a “sewer”, or “landmine”.
‘I’M HER MOM NOW’
Speaking during the video, Kandis Starr – who has taken a key interest in the disappearance of Joslin Smith – expressed her frustration with Kelly Smith’s version of events.
She said, “I’m not happy about the verdict of the trial. I feel like they got off easy with this fabricated story”.
Of little Joslin, she added: “I adopted her spirit, that’s my baby, and I’m her mom now”
