Rachel Kolisi, the estranged wife of Springboks captain Siya Kolisi, took to Instagram to reveal that her family and home is safe amid the Tokai fires, on Sunday 28 April.

Mom of two, Rachel Kolisi has marked her family safe from the Tokai fires. The Tokai Fires are multiple fires burning in Cape Town’s Table Mountain National Park. She also revealed that their home is safe.

“The season that keeps giving 😭. We are all safe (thank God) our home is safe. So grateful for our firefighters, community and SPECIALLY @carliannsmithy and Dale – honestly no way I would have managed the last 24 hours without you 😭,” she wrote.

“Exhausted, and hope I’m not speaking to soon but I think the worst is over 🙏🏼,” she continued.

This comes after she shared a video of her kids sleeping, panning to the fires, which could be seen in the video.
