Anele Mdoda and Bonelela Buzza James, formerly Prince Bonelela Ngubengcuka ka Mgudlwa, sealed their lobola negotiations last weekend with a traditional ceremony – Ukwamkelwa kwabakwenyana.
No doubt Anele Mdoda often trends whenever she posts or gets posted, thanks to her huge social media following.
BONELELA BUZZA JAMES GUSHES OVER ANELE MDODA
News of her union flooded online after Khaya Dlanga, Mdoda’s friend, shared photos of the couple on his Instagram, which he later deleted.
A few days after the ceremony, James took to Instagram to pen a heart-warming post for Anele Mdoda.
He shared photos from their wedding and captioned them: “Ndiyabulela Thixo Onamandla Onke (Thank you to the Almighty). Ndandithandaza – wandiphendula (I prayed and he answered).
“Hayi nje ngemfesane, kodwa ngowona mfazi omhle unobubele, noxolo, nothando emhlabeni (He answered me with a beautiful wife who’s humble, peaceful and loving in the world). Ndithi bayethe kuwe MaMfene (I praise you, MaMfene).”
The other part of Bonelela Buzza James’s post reads: “Nguye intliziyo yam eyayimlindile lonke elixesha sizichoymie (You are who my heart has been waiting for all this time).
“Nguye isithembiso sakho esiphilayo (You are my living promise). Ndithi haleluya, mayibongwe iNkosi! (I say hallelujah, praise the Lord) Uthando lwam lusuka kuwe Bawo. Ndi bulela nobawomkhulu ngolandela uKrestu.”
Against the post, fans and fellow celebrities were quick to flood his comment section with congratulatory remarks.
Award-winning actress, Masasa Mbangeni, wrote: “What a beautiful prayer! Congratulations!!! Akamhle umfazi wakho! (Your wife is so beautiful)”
‘PRINCESS TREATMENT’
Despite keeping her love life under wraps for years, Anele Mdoda seemingly confirmed the news with a cryptic social media post.
She shared videos of cows and added a playful caption, ‘Princess treatment,’ which left many convinced that the 947 host was off the market.
Anele Mdoda also received a bull as a congratulatory present from her boss. Over the years, cows have been a powerful symbol of respect, honour, and unity in traditional African weddings.
