According to Theron, “Post-production got shut down by Netflix, but the sequel will come out soon. I love this movie”.

The Old Guard films are based on the acclaimed comics by Greg Rucka and Leandro Fernández. The first movie was a pandemic-era hit, with South Africans and global audiences glued to their screens.
