Dineo Ranaka announced new talk show
Dineo Ranaka isgetting her own talk show, and she‘s bringing the real, the raw, and the relevant.
The radio personality announced her latest project, The DRS (The Dineo Ranaka Show), on Tuesday, April 22,on Instagram, where sheposteda teaserclipaswell asapost that has fansexcited.
In her usual brash style, Dineolaughed in the clip:“Finally! Dineo Ranaka hasfinallywoken up andunderstoodshe actually wants to do somethingsubstantial with her YouTube channel after havingownedit for how many years?!”
But she explained— this is nocarelessreturn. The DRS is her way ofcarvingout space for meaningfuldiscussions.
“Let‘s talk about things thatmatter, things thatconcern us in society,” she said.“This is where we come to tackle the real, the raw, and the relevant.”
Unlike a podcast, Dineo wants this show to feel more traditional — goodtalk show energy, notanother sit-downinterview.
She‘s going in with aproven format, a freshtwist, and alofty vision.Referencing Zechariah 4:10 in her press release, shereferencedhumble beginnings withloftyhopes:“Do not despise these small beginnings.”
So whatwilltheaudience receive? A mix ofwarmunderstanding,wit, and the kind of energy Dineo brings to everything shedoes.
She‘sgoing tohave a widevariety of guests, from everyday community heroes and experts to acoupleoffamiliar celebrityvisitors. And no twoprograms willeverbe the same.
The DRS officially premieres Monday, April 28 at 4 p.m. on Dineo‘s YouTube channel.
She‘s alsoonthehunt forpartnerships to keep the show going strong:“Myradio broadcastingexperiencewillholdmeingoodsteadwhere revenue generation is concerned,” shesaid.
