The star set social media abuzz after he used the picture-sharing app to flaunt his new car, a sleek BMW X5M.
Petrolheads were quick to give his car a nod, while others connected the dots about the price tag. The car has a base price tag of R2.2 million in several dealerships nationwide.
However, prices tend to differ depending on the year of manufacture, trims, and extras.
With his recent purchase, Oscar Mbo joins a host of celebrities who recently splurged millions on some of the world’s flashiest cars.
DJ Maphorisa and Shimza reportedly added new R4.4 million Mercedes-Benz G63s to their impressive fleets.
OTHER FLASHIEST CARS WORTH MILLIONS
After all, the new car has since implicated some of Oscar Mbo’s flashiest cars in the mix. The publication dives into his rumoured fleet worth millions.
Some of his flashiest cars include a Range Rover Velar with a price tag of R2.5 million. He also reportedly owns a sleek Mercedes-Benz V-Class.
The latest Mercedes-Benz V-Class has a base price tag of R2.2 million and is often used for travelling to gigs. Many celebrities, including DJ Tira and DJ Maphorisa, own the sleek van.
Oscar Mbo has also been spotted in his favourite Audi S3. However he has also been spotted driving around in a sleek Golf, but he hasn’t openly confirmed if it’s his.
Last year, he was spotted taking his close relative to prom in a sleek Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon. Little is known if the car is his or not.
However, despite his craze for some of the world’s flashiest cars, the celebrated DJ has also managed to buy cars for his immediate family.
Last year, he warmed the hearts of many when he surprised his parents with cars. In April, Oscar Mbo gifted his mother a Toyota Fortuner as a heartfelt token of appreciation for her unwavering support.
The warm gesture came barely a month after he surprised his father with a brand-new Toyota Hilux.
