The starting line-ups for Friday’s encounter between Stellenbosch FC and Kaizer Chiefs have been been announced.
This SOLD OUT Betway Premiership match between the two sides will be played at Cape Town’s Athlone Stadium.
Kick-off is at 19:30.
Now, Steve Barker has retained the core of the team that played to a 1-1 draw with SuperSport United on 1 February.
Sage Stephens keeps his place in the team alongside the likes of Olivier Toure, Thabo Moloisane while Omega Mdaka starts .
Midfield anchor Sihle Nduli has also been retained alongside Devin Titus and last game’s goalscorer Chumani Butsaka.
André de Jong leads the frontline as a lone striker but he will surely receive the support from his Stellies teammates.
On the other hand, Nasreddine Nabi has made a few changes to his usual Chiefs starting line-up.
Bruce Bvuma remains the trusted number one goalkeeper, and he will be protected by the likes of Inacio Miguel and Thatayaone Ditlhokwe.
Yusuf Maart will captain the team, and he will play in midfield alongside new signing Thabo Cele.
Glody Lilepo gets his second start for Chiefs and so is Tashreeq Morris after their promising performances in midweek.
