Kaizer Chiefs have let a couple of players leave with the most recent departure going under the radar.

KaizerChiefs initially confirmed the departure of Christian Saile.

The ex-Chiefs striker was involved in a swop deal with SuperSport for new Amakhosi striker, Tashreeq Morris. Thereafter, another Amakhosi player left to join PSL rivals.

CHIEFS PLAYER EXITS CONFIRMED

Following the departure of Saile to SuperSport United, Mduduzi Mdantsane has also left Chiefs.

Moreover, as mentioned he has also joined PSL rivals. Mdantsane has joined PSL rivals, Richards Bay on a loan deal.

“Kaizer Chiefs have agreed to a loan deal that sees midfielder Mduduzi Mdantsane join KwaZulu-Natal side, Richards Bay, for the remainder of the 2024/25 season,” reads the statement on the club’s website.

The deal took place on Transfer deadline day. However, it was only confirmed by Chiefs in a post on Friday, 7 February – over a week later.

MORE MOVES IMMINENT AT NATURENA

Chiefs have now confirmed TWO player exits.

Additionally, Amakhosi made THREE new signings. The Soweto giants confirmed the signatures of new recruits Morris, Glody Lilepo and Thabo Cele in the recent PSL January transfer window.

However, Chiefs are far from done with their transfer business. Several current squad members face possible – and in some cases likely departures. The likes of Aden McCarthy, Reeve Frosler and Edson Castillo are all linked with moves out of Naturena. McCarthy will likely be loaned out to grow with Inacio Miguel, Rushwin Dortley and Given Msimango all ahead of him in the pecking order.

Meanwhile, this R20-million Chiefs star is linked with a move to PSL rivals. Finally, Amakhosi have decided to part ways with this R9-million player.

SHOULD CHIEFS SELL MDANTSANE PERMANENTLY OR SHOULD HE RETURN TO NATURENA IN THE FUTURE?
