Orlando Pirates have some challenging fixtures this month as they aim to win their first Betway Premiership title in 13 years.

After recently defeating Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 at the FNB Stadium, the Buccaneers will turn their attention to an away match against Sekhukhune United. The two teams will compete at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Wednesday evening.

Orlando Pirates four of their five fixtures are away

Following this match, Pirates will face arguably their toughest game of the season against log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns. A week after their victory over Chiefs, the Sea Robbers will clash with Masandawana at Loftus Versfeld. A win for the Buccaneers could bring them level with the Brazilians, while a defeat may see them fall further behind in the standings.

The Buccaneers and Masandawana will go head-to-head on Saturday, 8 February, at Loftus Versfeld Stadium. Kick off is for 15:30.Â

After the Sundowns match, Orlando Pirates have more tough fixtures ahead. They will play a Nedbank Cup Round of 16 match against Baroka later this month, with a following away game against Golden Arrows. The dates and venues for the Nedbank Cup matches are yet to be finalised.

Here are Orlando Pirates’ confirmed upcoming fixtures: – Sekhukhune United (5 February) – Away – Mamelodi Sundowns (8 February) – Away – Golden Arrows (19 February) – Away – Cape Town City (22 February) – Home – Marumo Gallants (1 March) – Away
