It’s almost time to watch Orlando Pirates against Kaizer Chiefs in the Soweto derby again. Find out what Mduduzi Shabalala has said ahead of the game.
RESPECT FOR ORLANDO PIRATES YOUNGSTERS
Speaking at the match press conference on Thursday, the 21-year-old Kaizer Chiefs attacker Shababala said the young players at Orlando Pirates are at a higher level than their peers at Amakhosi. “We are not on the level of Pirates youngsters yet,” the Soweto-born star said via FARPost. “I think the youngsters playing at Pirates are doing way better than us, not only here in South Africa but in the African continent.
“You could see how they play. I think they gained a lot of experience at an early age because you see each and every game, and they are growing. I think it’s for us to learn from them and not be jealous because our time is coming,” Shabalala concluded in reference to Orlando Pirates’ Relebohile Mofokeng and Mohau Nkota.
