After revealing the amount of pain and heartache her husband potentially taking a second wife has caused during her debut on the popular reality TV show The Mommy Club, Nozipho Ntshangase’s husband, Zola has disregarded his wife and gone through and tied the knot with 25-year oldMisokuhle Nomsheshe.

A moment that was supposed to be filled with excitement and jubilation as it not only signifies an important milestone in a relationship but also brings two families together has rather turned sour as mzansi has put on their critical glasses to analyse the morality of the whole situation.

Firstly, users highlighted Zola’s clear disdain for his wife after her pain and suffering at his hands were on full display for all of mzansi to see on The Mommy Club. This was caused due to the couple being at odds about whether taking a second wife would be what’s beneficial for their family and relationship, whereas Nozipho completely opposed this proposition by Zola.

Secondly, users have expressed concern over the significant age gap between Misokuhle and Zola, as well as the overall situation that Miso is coming into.

Miso and Zola’s companionship was orchestrated and encouraged by their church, the Nazareth Baptist Church, which is more commonly known as the church of ‘Shembe’, where polygamy is a common practice. According to some internet users, this church has exhibited some concerning characteristics that encourage predators to prey on young women and marry them. This comes after some concerning marriages have surfaced on social media, where some brides are still teenagers or extremely young adults.

On top of this, users have voiced concern over Miso and her family’s disregard for Nozipho’s feelings and wishes, as well as Zola’s questionable actions towards Nozipho last year. According to these users, Miso will soon find out that she is not an exception and will most likely be subjected to the same treatment once the excitement of their new marriage wears off.
