Chris Rock has mocked South African-born Elon Musk in light of his allegiance to President Donald Trump, who has vowed to crack down on illegal migrants.
The US comedian threw shade at the world’s richest man in an episode of Saturday Night Live last month.
CHRIS ROCK MOCKS ELON MUSK
In a clip that has recently resurfaced, comedian Chris Rock is seen throwing shade at US President Donald Trump and his right-hand man, Elon Musk.
The Pretoria-born businessman, who owns the X app, has been given a position in the White House as the US’s new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
One of Trump’s urgent mandates in office is to deport illegal foreigners, particularly Mexicans.
Making light of the situation, Chris joked about the Menendez Brothers being deported to Mexico despite their father being a Cuban immigrant.
Chris then turned his attention to Elon, who is a South African by birthright.
He said: “Trump is not playing. This time he is working with the number one African American in the world. The richest African American in the world, Elon Musk.
“He is African American. Elon got more kids than Cleveland Brown [a fictional character on TV series, Family Guy]. Nobody knows how to get of people like a South African
He added of the SpaceX creator: “He’s going to put them on a rocket and call called it SpaceMex”.
IS WORLD’S RICHEST MAN AN ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT?
Elon was not born in the US after he left his home country – South Africa – for work and study purposes.
The 53-year-old boasts three citizenships: South African, Canadian, and American.
Elon left his Pretoria home in 1989 at the age of 18 years old to move to Canada, his mother Maye Musk’s country of birth.
He moved to the US in 1995 to pursue his studies. Elon then went on to establish several lucrative businesses in his adoptive country, including Tesla, SpaceX, Pa,yPal and the Boring Company.
During the presidential race, former US president Joe Biden called Elon Musk an “illegal foreigner” who worked in the US without a permit.
Clapping back at Biden, Elon tweeted: “I was, in fact, allowed to work in the US. I was on a J-1 visa that transitioned to an H1-B. They know this, as they have all my records.
Throwing shade at the 81-year-old, Elon added: “Losing the election is making them desperate.”
