From Kaizer Chiefs to Chippa United, the PSL is in a transfer frenzy with just under a week of the window to go.
AmaKhosi joined Mamelodi Sundowns as the most active club in January, and they seem far from finished.
Who’s moving where?
- Fawaaz Basadien has the big three—Chiefs, Pirates, and Sundowns—gunning for his signature, but with no advanced talks to speak of following months of negotiations, one can only assume he’s staying at Stellenbosch.
- Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns are in the race for Sekhkukhune United left-back Vuyo Letlapa.
- Kaizer Chiefs are eyeing former playmaker Puso Dithejane, who was banished from the club following on off-field altercation.
- Asanele Velebayi is keen on returning to the PSL. Cape Town Spurs have placed a R10 million price tag on the the 22-year-old.
Kimvuidi leaving?
Orlando Pirates midfielder Karim Kimvuidi is reportedly eager to leave the PSL in a bid to secure a starting role.
“Kimvuidi is one of those players one might say is unfortunate because despite being so talented he finds himself in an environment where he is competing with stars for a position, and it has been difficult for him to break into the team,” confirmed SL.
“He is a good player who can do very well at any other club but unfortunately, he is limited for game time where he is because of the competition.”
The DR Congo-born maestro has interest in North Africa and back home – the Buccaneers are open to talks, but have no interest in selling the 22-year-old. Loan option only.
